Mrs. Mary Jamerson was suddenly taken ill and died while on a visit to her sister, Mrs. Edd Holt in Columbus, Ga. Scarcely was the seriousness of her case realized until she was quietly falling asleep in the arms of Jesus. But she expressed to her husband before going that she was ready to go, and that she was going to walk the streets of gold in the New Jerusalem. The suddenness of her death makes it doubly hard for the bereaved ones. While it grieves beyond the expression of words, to think that she lives no more on earth, yet we have a memory of a beautiful unselfish Christianlike life. Not only will she be missed by her Christian family but in the different communities where she lived. Mrs. Mary Jamerson was 39 years of age and a member of the Baptist church having joined when quite a child. Since then she has been an active worker for the Church and the uplifting of the community. Life seems to have lost its sunshine, the days seem so long, dark and dreary without the Love of a precious wife and the vacancy in our hearts can never, no never be filled, yet we look forward to the meeting again in the Heavenly City where sorrows, sadness, pain and partings never come. There we know she is watching, waiting and hoping, the rest may meet her on the Golden Streets to part no more. Over the river she beckons me to come, Loved ones I have crossed to the farther side, The gleam of her snowy robe I see. But her voice is lost in the rushing tide. She crossed in the twilight, And the pale mist hid her from mortal view. We saw not the angels who met her there, The gates of the City, we could not see. Over the river, the peaceful river, Mary Jamerson stands awaiting to welcome me. A Loved One. Other-
