Rites for Mrs. Corine E. Jarrell, 73
Funeral services for Mrs. Corine E. Jarrell, 73, were
held Thursday, April 29 [1982] at 4 o'clock at the
Valley Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Cobb, Rev.
Clifford Bradshaw and Rev. David Reese officiating.
Burial was in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Taylor
County with Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home in charge of
the arrangements.

Mrs. Jarrell died Tuesday April 27 at Middle Georgia
Hospital in Macon. She resided at 1094 Atwater road and
was a member of the Valley Grove Baptist Church. Mrs.
Jarrell was a native of Talbot County.

Survivors include 5 daughters: Miss Mildred Jarrell and
Mrs. Willa Jane Holms, both of Thomaston;  Mrs. Jewell
Oliver, Chamblee; Mrs. Annie Ruth Patton, Guntersville,
AL; Mrs. Betty Widener, Macon; one son, Arthur Lee
Jarrell, Thomaston; 4 sisters: Mrs. EstellHammon, Aiken
SC; Mrs. Vera Roberts Winter Park, FL; Mrs. Lottie
Bowen, Purvis, MS; Mrs. Ruth Helms, Thomaston; two
brothers, Henry J. Edwards, McComb, MS; William
Edwards, Titusville, FL; 13 grandchildren and 13 great
grandchildren also survive.

It is the request of the family that Memorail
Contributions be made to Valley Grove Baptist Church or
the American Cancer Society.
