JOHNSON, Hugh Johnson, age 79, died September 11, 1985
 
Thomaston Times, Monday, September 16, 1985:
 
Mr. Hugh Johnson
Funeral services were conducted for Mr. Hugh
Johnson, 79, of St. Petersburg, Fla., at the Trinity
Baptist Church on Saturday, Sept. 14, 1985, at 11
a.m.  Mr. Johnson died Wednesday morning, Sept. 11,
in St. Petersburg.

Dr. James C. Wright officiated.  Burial was held at
Magnolia Cemetery in Concord.  Pasley-Fletcher
Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Johnson was a native of Oglethorpe.  He was a
resident of Upson County for most of his life and
was a Veteran of World War II.  Mr. Johnson was a
retired employee of Thompson's Wholesale Meats and
was a charter member of Trinity Baptist Church.

He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Linda Bushauer
of Yucaipa, Ca.; one son, Mr. Barry Johnson of St.
Petersburg, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. Maude Yewn of
Americus.  Two granddaughters also survive.
