Juanita Kersey, 58
Juanita S. Kersey, 58, of Firetower Road, died September 3 in Crawford W. Long 
Hospital in Atlanta.  Mrs. Kersey was a retired administrative secretary for 
the district attorney's office in Atlanta.  She had resided in Upson County for 
13 years.
She is survived by her husband, Hiram Kersey, one daughter, Mrs. Cherie Smith 
Tidwell, of Griffin, one son William Roderick (Rod) Smith, of Thomaston, one 
step-son, Gregg Kersey of Thomaston. Three grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were held Friday, September 5 in Fellowship Baptist Church.  
Rev. John Jones and Rev. Don Howell officiated and burial was in Crystal Hill 
Cemetery.  Coggins Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
