KELLY DEAD Mrs. Annie Lugenia Kelly, the daughter of Aneline Smith and Jesse D. Thompson, was born in Upson Co., Ga. August 21, 1876 and died at her home in Thomaston Ga., at 3 o'clock A. M. Oct. 16, 1921. On January 12th, 1899 she married John Austin Kelly, who died May 21st 1907, leaving her on a farm with a family of little girls. Funeral services at 1 p.m. Oct. 17, were conducted by her Pastor, Rev. C. S. Dursden at the old Jesse Thompson Home. Covered with beautiful flowers and followed by a large number of friends the casket containing the body of Mrs. Annie Kelly was tenderly placed beside her husband in the family burial ground. In the passing away of Mrs. Kelly, the community has lost a splendid citizen. Besides a large number of other relatives, she leaves four daughters; Johnnie in the eight grade and Gracie Lee a Senior in the R. E. LEE; Lillie Mae a Junior in the State Normal School at Athens; and Mrs. Oscar Torbert, of Thomaston, Mrs. Kate Weaver Dallas.
