Confederate Veteran Dead
 
Mr. T. W. Key of Upson County Ga., who died
the 11th of February, 1917, enlisted in
Company I, 13th Georgia regiment in July
1861. He was wounded in the left forearm,
and had a flesh wound through both legs,
lost two fingers on the left hand, was
wounded in the head and hip, and a buck shot
remained in head till he died.

He leaves a widow, Mrs. Sallie Cook Key, to
whom he was married in Pike County, Georgia,
the 18th of June 1860 and six children: five
sons, one daughter.
