Lasseter 
Mr. J. R. Lasseter, 80 died early Friday morning, Feb.
24, 1933 at his residence here. He was born in Monroe Co,
Forsyth ,Ga., but had lived in Thomaston for 49 years. He
was a member of the First Methodist Church.

Surveying are 2 sons, Mr. J. R. Lasseter, New York City
and Mr. Authur Lassater, Jacksonville, Fla.; a sister,
Miss Lizzie Lasseter, Decatur, Ga.

Funeral services were held Sunday morning at 9 o'clock
from Pasley's Mortuary, with Rev. J. M. Tumlin
officiating, Rev. T. R. Morehead, Elder S. H. Whatley,
assisting. Interment was made in Glenwood Cemetery.
