Obituary
  After an illness of about a year, Mrs. Mittie Melvina Zorn Legg, widow of the late L. H. Legg, one of the best known citizens of Pike Co., died at her home March 18, 1907 at 7:30 o'clock. She had been in an almost dying condition for several days.

  The deceased is survived by several children and grand-children. She was born in Upson Co., Ga, seventy one years ago, being the daughter of the late Jimmie Zorn, of the County.

  The funeral services were held at Smyrna church at Eleven o'clock on Wednesday morning. The services being conducted by Rev. J. D. Carriker. There was a touching scene at the end of the service when Mr. Taff sang "Asleep in Jesus, Blessed sleep"
