Funeral Notices
Moore

Mr. Franklin L. Moore, a local merchant who moved from Starr, S.C. to Thomaston 
several years ago, died suddenly Monday afternoon, November 7.  The remains was 
carried to Starr, S.C. for funeral services which were held Wednesday at 1:00 
a.m. from the First Baptist Church and interment in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his widow, five daughters, Mrs. Oscar Jones of Thomaston, 
Mrs. E.C. Shaw of Lowndesville, S.C., Mrs. Ada Clinkscales of Iva, S.C., Mrs. 
W.A. Hall of Starr, S.C., and Mrs. L.O. Scott of Middleton, Ga., one son, C. 
Moore of Starr, S.C., one sister, Mrs. Perry Jones of Iva, S.C., and three 
brothers: J.W. Moore and L.O. Moore of Starr, S.C., and T.N. Moore of Anderson, 
S.C.
