MATTHEWS   

Mr. Charlie Matthews died Sunday, November 1, 1925 and
was buried Tuesday at Trice Cemetery, Elder W. W. Childs
of Yatesville officiating with Stephens Undertaking Co.
in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Matthews was 71 years of age having been born and
reared in Upson Co. He was a member of Emmaus Primitive
Baptist Church.

The deceased is survived by five sons; J. N. Matthews of
Thomaston, J. F. Matthews of Dayton Texas, C. W. Matthews
of Meansville, W. C. Matthews of Lufkin, Texas, and one
daughter, Mrs. J. L. Hadaway of Gray, Ga.
