R. Mauldin died at her home near Thomaston last Thursday from a stroke of paralysis. Her remains were buried at the Mauldin Cemetery Friday. The funeral exercises being conducted by Rev. S. H. Whatley and attended by a number of relatives and friends. Mrs. Maudlin was 52 years of age and of Primitive Baptist faith. The deceased is survived by her husband and he has the sympathy of the people of the community in his bereavement. Mrs. J. R. Mauldin died on Thursday night, July 5th 1917. She was born Feb. 26th, 1863, making her stay on earth 54 yrs, 3 mo. 9 days. Known as Sister Bell to the Church.
