On August the Fourth, 1923, death claimed all that was
mortal of Mrs. Mary Davis McHargue, wife of J. T.
McHargue. She joined The Rock Baptist church when it was
organized in 1920 coming from Shiloh Baptist church,
Upson Co., where she had been a member for a number of
years.

She was a Christian woman ever ready to do her duty. Her
children and companion will miss her and we commend them
to her God whom she loved and delighted to serve.

We extend our deepest sympathy to each member of her
family, and especially her two youngest  daughters who
are members of our aid society. We can only expect them
to remember the answer to Paul's prayer " My Grace is
sufficient for thee."
