DEATH OF INFANT

Eddie Kate, the four months old baby girl of Mr. A.J.
McMakin, of Barnesville, and the granddaughter of Dr. and
Mrs. J.M. Blalock of this city, died early Saturday
morning at the home of Dr. J.M. Blalock after a brief
illness.

Since the death of the infant's mother last year, the
grandparents had been entrusted with the care of the
baby. It was very frail and delicate and its death was
not unexpected.

The funeral services were conducted at the Methodist
church on Sunday Morning at ten o'clock, by Rev. Henry F.
Branham, and the remains were interred at Glennwood
Cemetery.
