Moore, of The Rock was brought to Thomaston and intered in Glenwood Cemetery Tuesday. Mr. Moore met his death in a fall from a telephone post in Atlanta Monday. The Funeral was held at The Rock Methodist Church. Rev. G.C. Knowles, the pastor officiating. The following account of Mr. Moore's death is taken from the Atlanta Georgian of Tuesday: "C.B. Moore, 24, of 146 Courtland Street, a lineman for the Southern Bell Telephone Co., died Monday night in Grady Hospital from injuries sustained when he fell Monday morning from a telephone pole in East Cain Street. Without warning he fell headlong from the pole to the pavement below. He was unconscious when fellow workers reached him and was carried to Grady suffering from a fractured skull. The young man is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Lynch Moore, his father & mother, Mr. & Mrs. W.J. Moore, and a sister, Miss Mildred Moore, all of The Rock, GA." The people of Upson County greatly regret the untimely end of young Mr. Moore and deeply sympathize with bereaved loved ones.
