Vernon Jordan, 39
Mr. Vernon Jordan, 39, of 2020 Hannah's Mill Road died Thursday evening June 4 
at his residence.  Mr. Jordan was a native of Sumter Co. but had been a 
resident of Upson County for most of his life.  He was a member of Clark's 
Chapel Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 6 at Clark's Chapel Baptist Church 
with Rev. Dean Hemphill officiating.  Intermnet was in Emory's Chapel Baptist 
Church Cemetery.
Mr. Jordan is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sandra McDaniel Jordan of Thomaston, 
three sisters;  Mrs. Rachel Kassack, Mrs. Larie Metcalf, and Mrs. Sharon 
Phillips, all of Thomaston, four brothers;  Mr. Buddy Jordan, Mr. Marty Jordan, 
Mr. David Jordan, and Mr. Joe Jordan, all of Thomaston.
It is the request of the Family that Memorial Contributions be made to the 
Vernon Jordan Fund, in care of Clark's Chapel Baptist Church.
