Mrs. Lillie G. Capel
Thomaston---Mrs. Lillie G. Capel, age 73, of Route 5, Logtown Road, died at the 
Upson County Hospital on Sunday morning, August 17. Funeral services were held 
at the Coggins Guneral Home Chapel at 3 p.m. on Monday, August 18 with the Rev. 
Finas Rooks and the Rev. Ross Bell officiating.  Interment was in Hendrick's 
Cemetery.  Coggins Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Capel was a native of Meriwether County, Ga., but had lived in Upson 
County for the past 66 years.  She is survived by four brothers;  Alpha Gilbert 
of Atlanta, Willie Gilbert, Clinton Gilbert, both of Woodbury, James Gilbert of 
Thomaston, four sisters;  Mrs. Effie McAllister of Thomaston, Miss Maggie 
Gilber, Mrs. Gladys Wells, Mrs. Maie Dee Bell, all of Woodbury.
