John B. Haney
Mr. John B. Haney, 75, of 821 Greenvale Road, died early Wednesday morning Oct. 
17, 1984, at Upson County Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon, Oct. 18, at 2 p.m. in the 
Chapel of the Pasley-Fletcher Home with the Rev. Ross Mothershed and the Rev. 
H.F. Freeman officiating.  Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home will be in charge of 
the arrangements.  Entombment will follow in Upson Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
A native of Forsyth County, Ga., Mr. Haney had been a resident of Upson County 
for 55 years and retired from Thomaston Mills in 1962.  He was a member of East 
Thomaston Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Beatrice Ward Haney of Thomaston, two sons;  
Mr. Cecil Haney and Mr. Billy Haney, both of Thomaston, three sisters; Mrs. Ida 
Mae Coley and Mrs. Lois Matthes both of Thomaston, and Mrs. Nannie Smith of 
Atlanta.
