Mrs. Odessa Isbell
Thomaston---Death clamimed Mrs. Odessa Isbell, age 70, of 705 1/2 Nottingham 
St. at the Upson County Hospital on Friday morning.  Funeral services were held 
Saturday at 3 p.m. from the Chapel of the Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home with the 
Rev. Olan Wills officiating, assisted by the Rev. Euell Reece.  Burial was in 
the New Hope Cemetery in Yatesville.
Mrs. Isbell was a native Upsonian and a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters;  Mrs. Frances Beckham Dixon, Kathleen, Ga., 
and Mrs. Carol Isbell Smith, Thomaston, two sons;  William Raymond Beckham, 
Tallahasee, Fla., and Alvin W. Isbell, Norcross, three step-sons;  Albert 
Isbell, John L. Isbell and Clarence Isbell, all of Thomaston, six brothers;  
Odell Corley, G. C. Bechham, Paul Beckham, and Ed Beckham all of Thomaston, 
John W. Beckham and Moses Beckham, both of Madison, two sisters;  Mrs. Nellie 
Watson and Mrs. Ruth Burk, both of Thomaston, and 13 grandchidlren.
