Funeral services for Ross Hale, 67, were held Tuesday, February 15 at 3 o'clock 
at the Chapel of Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home with Rev. Henry Vaughn 
officiating.  Burial was in Southview Cemetery.
Mr. Hale died Sunday, February 13, 1983 at the Upson County Hospital.  He 
resided at 105 G Loop and retired in 1974 from Thomaston Mills.  Mr. Hale, a 
native of Harris County, resided in Upson County since 1933.  He was a member 
of the Faithful Christian Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Mrs. Sybil Craven Hale, two daughters, Mrs. Kathleen 
Groce, Thomaston, Mrs. Jeanette Parrott, Morrow, two sisters, Mrs. Ella Mae 
Harper, Shiloh, Mrs. Adele Odom, Thomaston; three brothers, Thomas and Ray, 
both of Thomaston, and Charles of Shiloh.  Eight grandchildren and four step-
grandchildren, and one great grandchild also survive.
