Walter(Sam) Vinson Harrison, 51, of Highway 19 South, died Monday, July 28, in 
Hummana Hospital, Newnan.  He was a native of Upson County and a tree planter.  
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Annette Harrison, a daughter, Miss Cristal 
Harrison of Thomaston; two sons, Todd of Thomaston, and Ben of Griffin; his 
mother, Mrs. Annie Lucy Harrison of Thomaston, and a brother, Dwight of 
Snellville and one grandchild.
Funeral services for Mr. Harrison are scheduled for Wednesday, July 30, at 
11:00 with Rev. Tommy Smith officiating.  Burial will be in Southview 
Cemetery.  Coggins Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
