Mr. Willis Herbert Hamlett, 79, of 67 Glencliff Road died Thursday, September 4 
at the Upson County Hospital.  Funeral services were held Saturday, September 
6, 1986 at 3 p.m. in Mt. Olive Gaptist Church.
The Revs. Bob Williams and John Jones officiated.  Burial was held in Mt. Olive 
Cemetery.  Coggins Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Hamlett is survived by one son, Mr. Perry Hamlett of Tucker; four brothers 
Hoyt, Lowell, Mack and Harold, all of Thomaston; six sisters; Mrs. Rubye Cox, 
Mrs. Mildred Troubetaris, Mrs. Essie Mae Smith, all of Molena; Mrs. Inez 
Ellerbee and Mrs. Mary Stubbs,  both of Thomaston, and Mrs. Voncille Stalone of 
Gulf Port, Miss.  Five grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive.
