Final rites Friday, May 17 for Mallory Hatchett, 70
Funeral services for Mallory Hatchett, age 70, were held Friday, May 17, at 
2:00 in the Chapel of Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home.  Rev. Keith Corley, Rev. 
Kelly Runyoun, Rev. Clyde Jones, and Rev. Richard Johnson officiating.  Burial 
was in Oakland Cemetery in Waycross, Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m.
Mr. Hatchett died May 16 in the emergency room of Upson County Hospital.  He 
was a native of Pike County and retired Captain of the Waycross District Office 
of the Ga. Dept. of Natural Resources.  He was an Army Veteran of WW11.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Doris Rollin Hatchett; one son, William  M. of 
Griffin; two step-sons; Archie Flanders of Griffin, and Joey Flanders of 
Diamond Springs, CA.; and Mrs. Geneva Helms of Thomaston; two brothers; Thomas 
Basil Hatchett of Molena, and Kenneth Hatchett of Thomaston, and one grandson, 
eddie Hatchett of Griffin.
