Final rites for William A.(Billy) Lummus, 69, were held Thursday, September 27 
at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home with Rev. Lawrence 
Burge and Rev. Wayne Fears officiating.  Burial was in Southview Cemetery.
Mr. Lummus died Wednesday, September 26 at the Upson County Hospital.  
He was a member of the Hightower Memorial United Methodist Church and was a 
supply room manager at Thomaston Mills.
Mr. Lummus was a native of Floyd County, but had resided in Upson County since 
1940.  He lived at 105 Park Lane.
Mr. Lummus is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hazel Lummus and several nieces and 
nephews.
