Virginia Crilley

Mr. B. L. Lewis, 83, of Robera died Monday, Dec. 22, 1986 at the Medical Center 
of Central Georgia in Macon.  Funeral services were held Tuesday Dec. 23 at 3 
p.m. at Walkers Chapel United Methodist Church near Roberta.  The Rev. David 
Carter officiated.  Interment was held in Providence Church Cemetery in 
Roberta.  Goddard Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Lewis was a life-long resident of Crawford County.  He was a retired farmer 
and a Baptist.
He is survived by his four daughters;  Mrs. Alma Hudson of Thomaston, Mrs. 
Christine Caison of Warner Robins, Mrs. Hazel Mead of Lyons and Mrs. Sally 
McRorie of Roberta, three sons:  Mr. Roy A. Lewis, Sr, and Mr. Clarence Lewis, 
both of Roberta, and Mr. Carlton Lewis of Barstow, Calif., onr sister, Mrs. 
Mattie Lou Spillers of Macon, one brother, Mr. Collins Lewis of Thomaston.  
Twenty grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive.
