Final Rites for Mrs. Jones Held Friday

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Madge Perdue Jones, 67, were held Friday 
morning at 11 o'clock at Glenwood Cemetery with Dr. Edwin L. Cliburn 
officiating.
Mrs. Jones, a resident of Atlanta, died Wednesday, December 17 at Emory 
University Clinic.  The native Upsonian was a member of the Screen Actors 
Guild, Atlanta Models and Talents and AFRA, Atlanta Writers Club.  She had made 
television commercials and still ads for Rich's, Davisons's, and Lord and 
Taylor department stores.  Mrs. Jones was a member of Hill Crest Christian 
Church in Newnan.
Survivors include her husband, John T. Jones, Atlanta, one daughter, Mrs. Carol 
Pettys, Atlanta, one son, Larry P. Jones, Atlanta, one sister, Miss Myrtle 
Perdue, Thomaston, three brothers:  Jim Perdue of Macon, Ted Perdue of 
Thomaston, and Jack Perdue of Atlanta, four grandchildren also survive. 
Pasley-Fletcher Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
