James Eubanks, 67
James Bright Eubanks, 67, of 501 6th Avenue died Thursday August 28 at Emory 
University Hospital.  Mr. Eubanks was a 26 year resident of Upson County and 
was retired from the B.F. Goodrich Company.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sina Rae Eubanks, of Thomaston, four sons; 
Sonny Eubanks of Griffin, Marvin Eubanks of Savannah, Ray Eubanks and Newton 
Eubanks, both of Thomaston, one brother, Lawrence Eubanks of Ellaville, and 
three sister;  Mrs. Minnie Grantham of Thomaston, Mrs. Nettie Easom, Mrs. Eva 
Mae Toms and Mrs. Christine Halstead all of Ellaville.  Eight grandchildren 
also survive.
Funeral services were held Saturday, August 30 at 11:00 a.m. in Southside 
Baptist Church.  Rev. Doug Smith and Rev. Cecil F. Gray officiated and burial 
was in Southview Cemetery.  Coggins Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
