Tucker, Ga.---Sam J. Ewing, of Norcorss, age 72, died December 24 at DeKalb 
General Hospital.  Funeral services were held Dec. 26 at McLane Chapel, Tucker 
with the Rev. Herbert Outlaw officiating.  McLane Funeral Home was in charge of 
arrangements.  Committed service was held Monday at Antioch Church cemetery.
Mr. Ewing is survied by his wife, Mrs. Frances Harp Ewing of Norcross, formerly 
of Thomaston, and son Larry M. Ewing of Portland, Oregon, two brothers; J. T. 
Ewing, Jr. of Norcross, and Carl L. Ewing of Douglasville, five sisters;  Mrs. 
Jossa Bankston, Mrs. Lola Morton, Mrs. ? (too light to read)(all of this was 
very light and hard to read)  Wilkerson, Mrs. Jesse Blankenship and Mrs. Ida 
Smith of Gwinnett County.
