Marvin Eason
Thomaston---Marvin Eason, age 75, of 410 Avenue L, Thomaston, died at his 
residence on Saturday night, September 20.  Funeral services were held at the 
Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Chapel at 2:00 p.m. on Monday September 22 with the 
Rev. L. R. Brock officiating.  Interment was in the Southview Cemetery.  Pasley-
Fletcher Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Eason was a native of Carroll County, but had lived in Upson County the 
past 43 years.  He retired in 1967 from the Carding Department, Thomaston Mills.
He is survived by two daughters, Claudette Kennedy and Mrs. Imogene Norman, 
both of Thomaston, two sons;  William H. Eason of Thomston and Charles L. Eason 
of Albany, Ga., two brothers; Clifton Eason of Zebulon, Ga., and Aaron Eason of 
Thomaston, two sisters;  Mrs. Eula Mae Lee and Mrs. Clemis Irvin, both of 
LaGrange, Ga., fifteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren also survive.
