Virginia Crilley

Funeral services held for Leola Hogan Gregory, 81, of Sunnyside Road, were held 
Friday, Feb.22 at 2:00 p.m. in Fellowship Baptist Church.  Rev. John A. Jones 
and Rev. Don Howell officiated.  Burial was in Upson Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Gregory died Feb. 20 in Upson County Hospital.  She was a native of 
Kissimmee, Fla. and was a former resident of Woodbury before moving to Upson 
County 26 years ago.  Mrs. Gregory was a retired postal clerk of the Woodbury 
Post Office.  She was a member of Fellowhip Baptist Church.  Mr. and Mrs. 
Gregory would have celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on March 31.
Survivors include her husband, C. L. Gregory, a daughter, Mrs. Lorie Chapman of 
Norcorss, a son, Carroll L. Gregory, Jr., of Woodbury, one sister, Mrs. 
Margaret Lasswell of Tampa, Fla., and two grandsons;  Greg Gregory of 
Manchester, and David F. Chapman, Jr., of Savannah.  One great-granddaughter 
also survives.
It is the request of the family that Memorial Contributions be made to the 
American Cancer Society.
