Vallie May Garner, 81
Mrs. Vallie Mae Garner, 81, of Clearview Nursing Home, Thomaston, died on 
Thursday May 7 at Upson County Hospital.  Mrs. Garner had lived in Upson County 
for the past fifty years and was retired from Thomaston Mills.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon in the Chapel of Coggins Funeral 
Home with Rev. Aubrey Sheats officiating.  
Mrs. Garner is survived by one daughter, Miss Lottie Mae Garner of Thomaston, 
two sons;  John H. Garner of Thomaston, and Willie E. Garner of The Rock, one 
sister, Mrs. Mollie Fogarty of Albany, Ga., and ten granchildren and seventeen 
great grandchildren.
