Doug Ellington, 67
Walter Douglas Ellington, 67, of 299 Lanier Road, died Monday, February 16 at 
the Macon Medical Center.  He was a life long resident of Upson County and was 
retired from the Twister Room of the Martha Mills.
Mr. Ellington is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Ellington, three sons;  Mather 
McDuffie, Walter Ellington, and George Ellingtom, all of Thomaston, one 
brother, Edward Ellington of Albany and three sisters;  Mrs. Alice Gresham, 
Mrs. Anie Sewell, both of Thomaston, and Mrs. Edna Carne of Albany.  Four 
grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 18 at 2:00 p.m. in the First 
Assembly of God.  Rev. Ross Mothershed and Rev. H. F. Freeman officiated and 
interment was in Upson Memorial Gardens.  Coggins Funeral Home was in charge of 
arrangements.
