Virginia Crilley

Funeral services were held for Mr. Thomas J. Evans, 65, of Yatesville, Sunday, 
March 29 at 2:00 p.m. at Yatesville Baptist Church.  Mr. Evans died Friday, 
March 27, 1987 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
The Rev. Steve Maguire and Elder C. J. Benefield officiated.  Interment was 
held in New Hope Primitive Baptiest Church Cemetery.  Pasley-Fletcher Funeral 
Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Evans was a native of Bartow County and later moved to Upson County in 
1949.  He was a vetern of World War 11 seving in the U.S. Army, retired from 
the William Carter Co. in Barnesville and was a member of the Yatesville 
Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Shirley Tidwell Evans of Yatesville.  Several 
nieces and nephews also survive.
