Funeral services will be held for Mr. Raymond Fogarty, 75, of Rome, Tuesday, 
March 31 at 2:00 p.m. at New Armuchee Baptist Church.  Mr. Fogarty died 
Saturday, March 28, 1987 in the Rome Health Care Center.
The Revs. Willard McAlaster and Frank Sharpe will officiate.  Interment will be 
in Floyd Memorial Gardens.  Talley Brothers Funeral Home of Rome is in charge 
of arrangements.
Mr. Fogarty was a native of Terrell County and was a resident of Floyd County 
for most of his life.  He retired from Batty Hospital and Northwest Regional 
Hospital after 27 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Fogarty of Rome, daughter, Mrs. Elsie 
Watson of Thomaston, two sons;  Mr. Ray Fogarty of Thomaston, and Mr. Robert 
Fogarty of Barnesville, step-son Mr. Orbin Kidd of new Carey, Tx., three 
sisters;  Mrs. Willie Hayes of Thomaston, Mrs. Maude Henderson of Zebulon, and 
Mrs. Nannie Pike of Jackson.  Nine grandchildren and several neices and nephews 
also survive.
