KURKUS
  Mrs. Lula Bishop Kurkus, age 48, died in a Milledgeville Hospital, 
Wednesday, July 10.  She is survived by three Sisters, Mrs. Annie Lou Kent, of 
Thomaston, Mrs. Willie Mae Hanks, of Macon, Ga., Mrs. Mattie Parrot, of 
Woodland, Ga., four Brothers; Mr. Idell Bishop, Mr. George Bishop, Mr. C. D. 
Bishop, of Thomaston, and Mr. Mack Bishop, of Conelly's Springs, N. C.  
Funeral services were held Friday, July 12, from Church of God at 5:00 with 
Rev. D. T. Toller, officiating.  Interment Valley Grove Cemetery.
