Mrs. Annie Claire Moore Ellington
Thomaston---Mrs. Annie Claire Moore Ellington, age 73, of Thomaston, died at 
the Upson County Hospital on Tuesday morning, February 17.  Funeral services 
were held at Pasley-Fletcher Chapel at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 18 with 
Dr. E. L. Cliburn and Dr. R. W. Jackson officiating.  Interment was in Glenwood 
Cemetery.  Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Ellington was born in Upson County.  She was a graduate of R. E. Lee and 
Georgia Normal College in Milledgeville in 1926.  Togethter with her late 
husband, C. Bart Ellington, they operated Bart's Thrift Store.  She was a 
school teacher in Upson County for many years.  She was a member of the First 
Baptist Church and was active in W.M.U.  She is survived by one son, C. Ronald 
Ellington of Athens, two grandchildren;  Gregory Spencer Ellington, and Miss 
Alicia Nichole Ellington, both of Ahtens.  Several nieces and nephews also 
survive.
