Mrs. Faye Ellis
LaGrange--Mrs. Faye Ellis, age 78, of LaGrange, Ga., died at the West Georgia 
Medical Center in LaGrange on Tuesday morning, January 27 after several months 
of declining health.  Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church in 
LaGrange at 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 29 with Dr. J. Thornton Williams and 
the Rev. Kenneth Godfrey officiating.  Interment was in the Langdale Cemetery 
in Langdale, Ala.  Hunter-Allen-Myhand Funeral Home was in charge of 
arrangements.
Mrs. Ellis was a native of Milstead, Ga., but had lived in LaGrange for 53 
years.  Shea was a retired employee of Elm City Plant of Callaway Mills and a 
member of the 25 Year Club of Callaway Mills.  She was a member of the First 
Baptist Church and the Sunshine Club of the Church.  
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. William Gydesen of Gunnison, Col, one 
son, Reid Ellis of Thomaston, one brother, Wilburn Reid of Langdale, Ala., one 
sister, Mrs. Joe Wooley of Langdale, Ala.  Several grandchildren also survive.
