Final rites for Mrs. Eva Gilson
Mrs. Eva S. Gilson, 90, of O Street, died Wednesday, June 26, at Providence 
Nursing Home.  Mrs. Gilson had resided in Upson County for 25 years and was 
retired from the spinning room of B. F. Goodrich Company.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mary Sexton of Thomaston, a son, Hugh 
Gilson of Butler, and a half-sister, Mrs. Ruby Hudson of Sylvester.  Three 
grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services wre held Friday, June 28 at 2:00 in Wesley Methodist Church in 
Taylor County.   Rev. Dale Thornton and Rev. Steve Webb officiated and burial 
was in the church cemetery.
Coggins Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
