Funeral services held May 5 for Mrs. Nora A. Garner, 59
Funeral services for Mrs. Nora A. Garner, 59, of Route 1, Meansville, were 
conducted Sunday, May 5, at 3 P.m. at Rehoboth Church of the Nazarene in Pike 
County, with the Rev. James D. Wilson officiating.  Interment followed in Moody 
Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Garner died May 3 at Crawford W. Long Hospital in Atlanta.  She was a 
native of Lamar County who had lived in Pike for 37 years.  Mrs. Garner was 
retired for Thomaston Mills Peerless Division.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph L. Garner, four daughters:  Mrs. Sharon 
Price,of Easly, S.C., Mrs. Peggy Boyt of Yatesville, Mrs. Gloria Sue Williams 
of Thomaston, and Miss Barbara Barner of Meansville, and five grandchildren.
Moody Funeral Home of Zebulon was in charge of arrangements.
