Mrs. Effie Ellington Thompson
Mrs. Effie Ellington Thompson , 87, of 361 Waller Road, died early Monday 
morning, March 1, at Providence Nursing Home.  
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 2, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of 
Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home.  Officiating the service will be the Rev. 
Clifford Bradshaw and the Rev. Jerry Cobb.  Interment will be at Valley Grove 
Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Thompson, a native of Upson County was a member of Zions Chapel United 
Methodist Church.
Mrs. Thompson is survived by her husband, J. B. Thompson, Sr., of Thomaston, 
three daughters;  Mrs. Earl Riley of Manchester, Mrs. Ruth Ellerbee and Mrs. 
Davis Jones, both of Thomaston, three sons;  J. B. Thompson, Jr. of Atlanta, 
Bill Thompson and Hubert Thompson, both of Thomaston.  Eight grandchildren and 
xix great grandchildren also survive.
