Mrs. Naomi Boyt Ellington
Mrs. Naomi Boyd Ellington, 72, of Yatesville, died Friday morning, January 22 
at the Providence Nursing Home.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Jan. 24 at the Yatesville United Methodist 
Church with the Rev. Colan Dacus officiating and the Rev. Bill Dubose 
assisting.  
Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.  Interment was 
in New Hope Church Cemetery in Yatesville.
Mrs. Ellington was a native of Upson County.  She was a member of the 
Yatesville United Methodist Church.  She retired in 1974 from the Thomaston 
Mills Bleachery Division.
Survivors include;  two daughters, Mrs. Bootsie Curry of Yatesville, Mrs. 
Brenda Newsome of Wrens, Ga., two sons;  Mr. James Ellington, Mr. Joe 
Ellington, both of Yatesville, two sisters;  Mrs. Frankie McKinley of Thomaston 
and Mrs. Frances Hawkins also of Yatesville.  Nine grandchildren and two great 
granchildren also survive.
