Death Claims
Mrs. Woodard
  Mrs. Katie Woodard was claimed by death on Wednesday at the Upson County 
Hospital.
  Funeral services for Mrs. Woodard, 85, will be announced later by Bentley 
and Son's Funeral Home.
  Mrs. Woodard resided on the Grace Chapel Road.  The native Upsonian is 
survived by five daughters, Hannah Middlebrooks and Lillie Mae Dawson, 
Thomaston; Ina Kate Askin and Annie Seal Woodard, Durham, N.C.; Minnie 
Bradley, New York; two sons, Lofton Woodard and Thay Lee Woodard, Atlanta; one 
sister, Mrs. Vallie Walker, Salem, Ala.; fifty-two grandchildren and fifty-
eight great grandchildren also survive.
