Thomaston Times – Monday, June 16, 1986

  Graveside services were held for Mrs. Ida Mae James, 89, formerly of Vickery 
Road, Sunday, June 15 at 5 p.m.  Mrs. James died early Saturday morning, June 
14, 1986 at the Providence Nursing Home.
  The Rev. John Autry officiated.  Interment was held in South View Cemetery.  
Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
  Mrs. James was a native of Bibb County and was a Baptist.
  She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Pearl Rowland of Fort Mitchell, Ala.; 
one son, Mr. Jesse Lee James of Jacksonville, N.C.; two sisters, Mrs. Lucille 
White of Dublin and Mrs. Ruth Lee of Columbus.  Ten grandchildren and a number 
of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren also survive.
