Thomaston Times - Friday, August 24, 1945 

RIDLEY
  Mrs. W. J. Ridley, 57, died in a hospital in Atlanta sunday, August 19th.  
Her funeral was held at the Smyrna Church at 11:00 o'clock Tuesday morning.  
Rev. Clifford Bradshaw was in charge and interment was held in the church yard 
cemetery.  She is survived by her husand, W. J. Ridley; two sisters, Mrs. 
Louise Brady of Gastonio, N. C., and Mrs. Amanda Bowers of Brossigy City, N. 
C., four brothers, Lee, Bill, Fred and Tom Ledford---all of Brossigy City, N. 
C.
