Mr. Martin
   Mr. John Frank Martin, 72, of 127 Killingsworth Road, Meansville, died 
Tuesday, March 3 (1992), at his residence.
   Mr. Martin was a native of Butts County and had lived in Pike County most 
of his life.  He was a retired mechanic from Meadows Motors and a member of 
Pine Mountain Church of the Nazarene and the Disabled American Veterans.
   Survivors include his wife, Mary Martin of Meansville; two daughters, 
Priscilla Killingsworth of Meansville and Lisa Martin of Barnesville; a son, 
Marvin J. Martin of Thomaston; three sisters, Florence Hammond, Jewell 
Hammond, and Evelyn Layton; a brother, Doug Martin of Meansville, nine 
grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
   Funeral services for Mr. Martin were conducted Wednesday, March 4, at 2 
p.m. from Pine Mountain Church of the Nazarene, with the Rev. Warren 
Killingsworth officiating.  Interment followed in the Beulah Baptist Church 
cemetery.
   Moody Funeral Home of Zebulon was in charge of arrangements.
