Mrs. Mattilu Trice Woodson
  Funeral services were held for Mrs. Mattilu Trice Woodson, 80, of 507 
Stewart Ave. Saturday, Sept. 6 at 2 p.m. in Grace Primitive Baptist Church.  
Mrs. Woodson died Thursday night, Sept 4, 1986 at the Upson County Hospital.
  The licentiate Steve Taylor and Elder Charlie D. McClendon officiated.  
Interment was held in Glenwood Cemetery.  Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home was in 
charge of arrangements.
  Mrs. Woodson was a native of Randolph County, Ga.  She had been a resident 
of Upson County for 76 years.  She was the widow of the late Truitt R. 
Woodson.  Mrs. Woodson was a retired employee of the B.F. Goodrich Company and 
was a sales clerk in downtown Thomaston.  She was a member of Grace Primitive 
Baptist Church and the John Houstoun Chapter of the Daughters of the American 
Revolution.
  She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Ruth Currie of Thomaston; one brother, 
Mr. Truman Trice of Columbus.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.
