Death of Mr. Spinks

The numerous Taylor County friends of Mr. Hamp Spinks will be grieved to learn 
of his death which occurred Sunday at his home at Thomaston.  Mr. Spinks was 
about 60 years of age and for many years a highly respected citizen of this 
county, moving to Thomaston and engaging in business there about ten years 
ago.  The remains of Mr. Spinks were interred in the cemetery at Horeb church 
near the line of Taylor and Talbot Monday.  An impressive funeral service was 
conducted by Rev. M.T. Gaultney.
