Mrs. Bennie Argroves Garner
Funeral services were held for Mrs. Bennie Argroves Garner, 93, of Thomaston, 
Friday, July 18, 1986 at 11 a.m. at Farview Baptist Church in Grooks.  Mrs. 
Garner died after a brief illness at the Clearview Nursing Home Wednesday, July 
16, 1986.
The Rev. James Wilson Wilson ( don't know if this is name or mistyped in obit)
officiated.  Burial was held in the church cemetery.  Moody Funeral Home of 
Zebulon was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Garner was a homemaker and the widow of the late Thomas E. Garner.  She 
was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Meriwether County.
She is survived by two sons, Joseph F. Garner of Thomaston, and Olen Garner of 
Griffin, three daughters; Mrs. Ruth Creamer, Mrs Irene Kempson, both of 
Concord, and Mrs. Gertrude Stewart of Griffin.  Thirty-one grandchildren and 55 
great great-grandchildren also survive.
