Funeral notices Griffin Ga., May 23- 

Funeral services for Joel L. Pasley, of 1106 St. Charles
place, who died Sunday were held at 11:00 Wednesday
morning at the graveside here. Mr. Pasley was a resident
for pasley for 20 years, He was a native to Thomaston. He
went to Atlanta as traveling salesman for Inman-Smith
Co., and later connected with Daniel Miller Company, of
Baltimore, until buying an interest in Meador-Pasley
Company.

Mr. Pasley is known and loved among his customers. In
addition to his wife, who was Miss Bessie Word, of
Thomaston, before their marriage 20 years ago, Mr. Pasley
is survived by his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Pasley, of
Birmingham; Three sisters in Birmingham; a brother, Jesse
PASLEY Forsyth; Mrs. J. H. Chapman, Meansville; Mrs. J.
B. Williams, Culloden; Miss Mrytle Haygood, Atlanta; five
brothers, Charles of Forsyth; W. T.  of Barnesville; R.L.
and Atticus, Culloden and Several grandchildren.
