Perdue died at her home in this city Tuesday, the remains were buried at the old family Cemetery southeast of Thomaston Wednesday afternoon. The funeral was held at the home at 2 o'clock the exercises being conducted by Rev. Charles S. Burden, pastor of Thomaston Baptist church. Mrs. Peruse was 67 years of age having been born on Dec. 19 1854. She was the daughter of James M. and Louisa C. Barron. She had been married twice. Her first husband was George W. Zorn whom she married Dec. 11 , 1873. He died Oct. 3, 1878. Three children were born of this union. On Dec. 23, 1879 she married James S. Perdue and to them were born four children. Mr. Perdue died Aug. 3, 1898. Five sons and one daughter survive the deceased. They are Messrs A. J. Zorn and G. O. Zorn of Thomaston, Messrs Olin and Thad Perdue of Brunswick. The children of the deceased have the sympathy of the people of this community in the great loss of their mother. Barron, (Father, James of Mrs. Perdue) Mrs. J.M. Barron ( Mother, Lousia C. Barron) & Mrs. Hearnsburger, buried by her husband.
