PERSONS
Thad Persons

Sacred to the memory of my husband Almost 25 years have
flown since our lives were happily united. Thad had been
in declining health for Several months, but was confined
to bed only a few days. He bruised his hands while at
work, causing what we thought an Abscess, but resulted in
blood poison, which made his suffering great. On June 7th
he was carried to Atlanta and intered a Hospital for
treatment but his system was to badly impaired to throw
off the poison. He passed away calmly on June 8th.

Thad was baptized 24 years ago by Bro. W. C. Cleveland.
Out of a family of 10, he leaves one sister, Mrs. Mcmakin
of Thomaston, Ga; one Brother, A. G. Persons of Strouds
Ga; a devoted Christian Mother, and our children 6 girls
and 3 boys, one little grandson and a son-in-law, E. T.
Reeves to miss his Presence.

We laid his body to rest in the family Cemetery to await
the great eternal Mourn, when the voice of the King shall
awake him.
